Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Abofence (the “Service”), a free web app that helps you track subscriptions and recurring expenses. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Abofence is provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranties of any kind. It is a tracking tool: we do not connect to your bank, and we cannot cancel, pay, or otherwise act on any subscription or expense on your behalf. Amounts, rates, and reminders are estimates for your own reference and may be inaccurate — always verify with the provider.

• You must provide a valid email address and confirm it to use the app.
• Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• One account per person. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction.

Do not misuse the Service — for example, by attempting to break or overload it, accessing data that is not yours, sending spam, or using it in violation of applicable law. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the Service.

You keep ownership of the content you add. We store it to run the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data or delete your account at any time under Account settings.

The Service is in ongoing development. We may add, change, or remove features, and it may be unavailable from time to time (including for maintenance or during incidents). We may also update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abofence and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including missed renewals or charges. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
